The National Center on Safe Supportive Learning Environments developed its Building Student Resilience toolkit for middle and junior high school educators to help students build resilience and overcome challenges. 

The second module of the toolkit is designed for educators working with students in the classroom. It contains materials that connect research surrounding resilience to positive school climates and allow educators to integrate strategies to build student resilience. 

The module includes a comprehensive training guide, individual handouts, and a slide presentation. The accompanying handouts contain a student strengths checklist, ways to promote positive peer-to-peer relationships, and ways to promote inclusion and develop a supportive context in the classroom.
