Description

The National Center on Safe Supportive Learning Environments developed its Building Student Resilience toolkit for middle and junior high school educators to help students build resilience and overcome challenges.

The third module of the toolkit includes a self-care guide for all education staff. It assesses personal stress levels and provides an opportunity to reflect on self-care to support staff resilience.

The guide comprises a self-directed and self-paced guide for reflection and planning. It is suggested that someone completing the module do it with another person to talk through any issues revealed during self-examination. The end of the module allows educators to create a custom self-care plan.
