Description
The Center for Disease Control has created a compendium of assessment tools that measure bullying, victimization, perpetration, and bystander experiences. Bullying is a widespread issue that impacts an estimated 30% of American adolescents. Bullying can be moderate or severe and take place in a variety of forms. Understanding bullying, its impacts on victims, and how bystanders interact with bullying is an important part of bullying prevention.
This compendium has a variety of assessment tools that can be used to better understand the issue. It has four main sections:
Section A – bully only scales
Section B – victim only scales
Section C – bully and victim scales
Section D – bystander, bully, and/or victim scales
This compendium can also be accessed through the CDC at https://www.cdc.gov/youth-violence/communication-resources/BullyCompendium-a.pdf
