Groundwork Ohio has created the 2023 Early Childhood Dashboard, a one-of-a-kind tool for understanding systems, community conditions, and outcomes for Ohio’s early childhood population.

Groundwork is an organization working to advance public policy that will make Ohio a better place for young people. They are specifically focused on policies and programs that serve babies and children from the prenatal period through age 5, as this period of life creates an important foundation for the rest of development.
Groundwork Ohio published the 2023 Early Childhood Dashboard, a 56 page tool that provides a comprehensive look at 60 different metrics that help us understand the experience of Ohioans ages 0-5, their families and communities. The Early Childhood Dashboard is a first of its kind tool for understanding these issues. Groundwork Ohio worked with a variety of early childhood experts, families, community, organizations, and providers to get a thorough understanding of the systems, community conditions, and needed outcomes for Ohio’s early childhood population.
This is an excellent resource for anyone looking to better understand the current issues facing Ohioans ages 0-5, the current supports that are available within the state, and what needs to be done moving forward to improve life for Ohio’s early childhood population and their families.
