- Talk about the risks of using alcohol.
- Talk about the risks of using drugs.
- Explain that mental health & substance use problems can occur together.
- Talk about the risks of peer pressure.
- Talk about negative media influences.
- Acknowledge appropriate behaviors.
- Encourage appropriate coping skills.
