Problem solving is an important part of supporting students. This sample script for teachers gives a format for how you could address an issue you are seeing from a student and how you can approach solving the problem through the fours step problem solving process: 

Step 1: Problem Identification

Step 2: Problem Analysis

Step 3: Plan Identification/Analysis

Step 4: Plan Evaluation

This script can be helpful for educators by providing them with language and structure with which to approach solving a problem. This template can be used to address a variety of situations from behavioral to academic to interpersonal problems.
