The Trevor Project is a nonprofit organization, founded in 1998, working to end suicide amoung LGBTQ+ young people. They offer a variety of services and resources to support the LGBTQ+ community including crisis support, access to a counselor, educational resources, and safe spaces for LGBTQ+ youth. They also participate in advocacy work having helped successfully pass 30 bills in the United States to protect the LGBTQ+ community, and conduct original research to better understand issues impacting LGBTQ+ people.

The Trevor Project is an excellent resource for LGBTQ+ young people seeking support and community, educators and families members of LGBTQ+ young people looking for information on the LGBTQ+ community and how they can support LGBTQ+ people in their lives. The Trevor Project is also a great way for LGBTQ+ people and allies to get involved with advocacy and furthering the safety and well-being of LBGTQ+ Americans.
