Description
Social media is a huge part of young people’s’ daily lives. Social media can have benefits like helping teens learn new skills, be exposed to different perspectives, and connect with people and communities. Unfortunately, social media also poses some risks to mental health.
This handout is a one-page resource for parents, teachers, and pediatricians to talk to teenagers about the positive and negative impacts of social media and how to use social media healthily.
