If you are a parent, please don’t hesitate to ask for what your child might need and be open to mental health support.
If you are someone supporting a parent, encourage them to normalize receiving mental health support. And–perhaps role-play how an important conversation might go.
Please note, if a child or adult is in immediate danger, please go to a hospital or call 911 right away. If you are concerned about a young person or child, do not leave them alone.
Call or text 988 if someone is having a mental health crisis.
