Staff Wellness Educator Self-Care Tip Sheet

Categories: ,

The National Child Traumatic Stress Network created this tip sheet for educators about self-care.

FREE

Description

Compassion fatigue is real and can lead to burnout.

The National Child Traumatic Stress Network created this tip sheet for educators about self-care.

Download and share with adults during a staff meeting or as part of a professional development day. Perhaps you can reference these tips in a staff newsletter or post in your staff wellness room.

Discuss the key points for general awareness or as a way to begin a conversation with someone. One idea is to use a few minutes of a meeting for participants to pair-share about what self-care tips they are leaning into currently or that they want to consider going forward.

Remember to regularly share your district’s EAP (Employee Assistance Program) phone number and encourage adults to seek help with compassion fatigue or other mental health challenges as needed.

No Wrong Door Marketplace materials or resources are reviewed and curated by the Ohio School-Based Center of Excellence for Prevention & Early Intervention. To discuss resources, add, or suggest updates to No Wrong Door Marketplace, please call 513-529-2450. www.OhioSBCOE.org
